Located between Falmouth and Trelawny Beach Hotel on the main Road
between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios,
From Information given by Scientists from "John Hopkins University",The
correct term for the light in the Bay is Bioluminescence because
it is produced by small living animals known as "Dinoflagellates". The organism
responsible for the light produced here bears a scientific name "Pryodium Bahamene",
and is so small a microscope is required to see a single individual.
What appears to be a flash of light is really the result of thousands of flashes, each
generated by a single living animal.
